Micheline Steinberg Associates represents writers for stage, television, film, radio and animation, as well as writer-directors, translators and librettists. MSA also acts for a number of literary estates and negotiates dramatic rights in booksrepresented by associated literary agencies. We also work alongside overseas literary agents.
Micheline set up Micheline Steinberg Associates (MSA) in 1985 to develop new and established talent, and now manages an eclectic list of dramatists. Prior to MSA, she worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and subsequently wrote Flashback, a pictorial and anecdotal history of 100 years of the RSC. She was then invited to join the renowned Margaret ‘Peggy’ Ramsay agency.
Jazz studied English at Oxford University and then completed a Master’s in Modernist Art at the Courtauld Institute. After an internship working with Bristol Old Vic at Hauser & Wirth, she realised her true passion was literary programming and landed a role in the Masterclass Team at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. During her time there she read hundreds of new plays from aspiring playwrights as part of their Pitch Your Play scheme and this led her to Micheline Steinberg Associates, where she is working on growing her own list.
