BARBARA NADEL (Author, in association with Juliet Burton Agency) initially trained as an actor, followed by a degree in psychology, working in the NHS psychiatric services prior to becoming a full-time writer. Barbara was awarded the prestigious Crime Writers Association Silver Dagger for her Turkish Detective Ikmen novel DEADLY WEB (all 21 novels are under option to Viacom), and won the Swedish Flintax prize for historical crime fiction for her first Francis Hancock book, LAST RIGHTS. Barbara’s new Hakim and Arnold thriller series, A TIME TO DIE, set in the global underworld of London’s East End, will be published later this year.
