JULIAN ARMITSTEAD (Writer/Theatre/Radio) Julian was offered an attachment at Birmingham Rep for his play AFTER THE ACCIDENT (winner of the 2008 Amnesty International ‘Protect the Human’ playwriting competition, and published by Methuen), in which he explores the process of restorative justice, was subsequently produced at Soho Theatre and on tour in the UK. Julian is writer-in-residence at HM Prison Hewell and is currently developing several new projects including his original play TWISTED UP, a modern re-telling of the Oedipus myth.
