KATE FERGUSON (Writer/Theatre) is a playwright and librettist, currently writing A CHRISTMAS CAROL for Bolton’s newly refurbished Octagon Theatre, as well as a scaled down version of last year’s Bolton production of TREASURE ISLAND for The Park Theatre (both with Susannah Pearse). Previous works include FAIR TRADE (EP Emma Thompson, Edinburgh Fringe and UK tour), SHERLOCK HOLMES : The Early Years (Music Jared Dembowski, lyrics Susannah Pearse, book Robbie Hudson), winner of the Theatre for the American Musical Award (New York Musical Theatre Festival), and THE DEVIL’S DISCIPLE (lyrics Susannah Pearse, music Rebecca Applin, commissioned by the Shaw Estate, RADA and Central School of Speech and Drama).
