MICK HERRON is a British novelist.  He is the author of the award-winning Slough House thrillers (including the CWA Gold Dagger for Best Crime Novel and the Steel Dagger for Best Thriller),  currently dramatised for a major Apple TV+ series, starring Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb. His other works include the Zoe Boehm series, the standalone novels Reconstruction and This is What Happened, and numerous short stories published in Dolphin Junction. His work has won the CWA Gold Dagger for Best Crime Novel, the Steel Dagger for Best Thriller, and the Ellery Queen Readers Award, and been nominated for the Macavity, Barry, Shamus, and Theakstons Novel of the Year Awards. Mick was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, and lives in Oxford.
