SUSANNAH PEARSE (Composer/Lyricist /Writer/Theatre/Radio) has an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing (Tisch School, NY). Sue is currently commissioned to write a new version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL (with Kate Ferguson) to launch the refurbished Octagon Theatre Bolton and HALL OF MIRRORS with Robert Hudson for BBC R3. She is also writing the book of a new musical based on Wilder’s THE BRIDGE OF SAN LUIS REY (music and lyrics by Tim Connor). Previously, she wrote the music and lyrics of TREASURE ISLAND (with Kate Ferguson, Octagon Bolton 2019), which is being revived at The Park Theatre in 2021, book and lyrics for JABBERWOCKY with Rebecca Applin for British Youth Music Theatre, and libretto for I AM NOT YOURS with Anna Semple for the Royal Opera House. For Radio, she regularly writes the music for John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme (BBC R4).
